A gentle hike takes you to the spectacular Materuni Waterfall, cascading nearly 90 meters into a cool plunge pool. Take in the breathtaking views and, if you’re adventurous, enjoy a refreshing swim at the base of the falls.

Coffee Tour in Materuni Village

After the hike, immerse yourself in the Chagga people’s coffee tradition. Learn every step of the process—from picking ripe beans to roasting, grinding, and brewing. With singing and storytelling from the locals, you’ll prepare and enjoy your own cup of fresh Tanzanian organic coffee. A traditional Chagga lunch is served, giving you a taste of authentic local cuisine.

Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs

In the afternoon, drive to the famous Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden oasis in the middle of the savannah. The clear turquoise waters are naturally warmed by geothermal energy, making it the perfect spot to soak, swim, and relax after your waterfall hike. Surrounded by fig trees and equipped with rope swings, it’s a fun, tranquil, and scenic way to end the day.

After your swim and relaxation, you’ll be transferred back to Moshi or Arusha, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of your adventure-packed day.
